Join staff for a 2.5-mile loop hike to enjoy the sights and sounds of spring at Bennett Spring State Park. Come experience wildflowers, pollinators, birds and other wildlife as staff guiding the hike knock down spider webs across the trail.
The trail consists of natural surfaces and features some steep grades and water crossings. However, the hike will be taken at a slow pace, making it great for those just learning to go on adventures in the woods.
The hike will begin at the trailhead of Savanna Ridge and Natural Tunnel trails, just past the spring head cabins. Participants should wear closed-toe shoes, bring water and snacks, and use insect repellent.
